Website Design Process

We don’t just build websites that look good but we build websites that perform and do what they are designed to do – attract sales.

To ensure all our responsive websites are built to a quality standard we follow a strict Website Design Process.

Website Design Process

Analysis is the first stage within our Website Design Process, here we strategically plan how your website can be utilised to help achieve your business goals. We have a specification meeting with you to discuss your business objectives, what you would like your website to achieve and review the current user journey as they navigate your website.

This information will highlight key features and functionality required for the new website.

Now we have a good understanding of the key elements required for your new website, we move onto the Design phase. Initially a few pages including; home page and contact us page, will be designed to determine an overall vision for the website in terms of style, design and branding.

Your account manager will liaise closely with you and our design team to ensure you are happy with the look and feel of your website. Once approved we will hand over to our developers to begin the build of your website.

During the Development stage the website is built into a fully functional website on one of our test servers. The website is built around a Content Management System (CMS) and built to the latest W3C standards to ensure your website is fully validated and contains no errors.

Once built the site will be made available for you to view and to sign off before the website is deployed to be made live.

Before the website is made live we will perform functionality (filling out of web forms) and browser testing, to ensure your website is optimised to be viewed in a variety of browsers. Once live, we will provide your team with training and a manual on how to use the CMS, to make updates and edits to your website.
